About AAEFE

The American Academy of Economic and Financial Experts is represented by a diverse group of professionals and academicians that are interested in analyzing economic damages in litigation settings.
 
AAEFE publishes an academic journal, the Journal of Legal Economics, and holds an annual conference where research is presented and discussed.  Its members communicate through a newsletter and electronic mailing list, AAEFE-L.

Announcements

Moratorium on Current Members' Dues
The AAEFE Board has voted to place a moratorium on 2008 dues for current members.  See the President's page for more information.

Meeting Minutes

Treasurer
Our new Treasurer is Peter Marks.  Peter will be developing a new system of handling membership dues and conference registration fees that will be posted soon at this site.  If you have any questions concerning the AAEFE treasury, please email Peter at econric@cox.net.

New Journal Editor
Our Editor of the Journal of Legal Economics is now Michael Nieswiadomy.  Michael will be working on the creation of a new Board of Editors and Associate Editors slate.  Please send all submissions and concerns to Michael at his address listed on the Journal of Legal Economics page.  If you have any questions concerning the Journal of Legal Economics, please email Michael at miken@unt.edu.

New Hotel for Annual Meeting in Last Vegas
The AAEFE Board has voted to move our annual meeting in Las Vegas to the Westin.  See the President's page for more information.

New Bylaws
The membership approved new AAEFE Bylaws at our annual meeting in March 2007.  See the AAEFE Board page for a copy of our Bylaws.
