This paper responds to Nora Ostrofe’s paper ‘‘Does the Vocational Economic Rationale Have Merit? – An Appraisal.’’ The general format and flow of Ostrofe’s paper is followed in addressing the specific issues underlying her appraisal. Ostrofe’s article presents her opinions and interpretations as facts, and by doing so, much of what she says is simply in error, inaccurate, or misleading. This paper responds to her criticisms of the Vocational Economic Rationale and the inaccurate statements that are contained in her article.
