A 2021 Survey of Forensic Experts: Their Methods, Estimates, and Perspectives

In 2021, members of three organizations, whose memberships consist of forensic experts in economics and related fields, were invited to complete an electronic survey. Survey questions explored several method areas including use of gender distinctions in analyses, incorporation of various rates into estimates, and practices related to estimating household services. The survey also explored aspects related to respondents’ professional backgrounds and business practices. Those answering the survey had the opportunity to comment on ethical concerns facing practitioners in their work. Detailed responses are provided within.
