Ultimate Price – The Value We Place on Life by the statistician and health economist Howard Friedman examines how we value lives both from a social and an individual perspective. He has a Master’s in statistics and a PhD in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He currently works at the United Nations Population Fund and is an Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University.
