At its annual meeting conducted March 2, 2023, the American Academy of Economic and Financial Experts (AAEFE) bestowed a Lifetime Achievement Award upon Barry Ben-Zion for his contributions to AAEFE and the field of forensic economics. AAEFE President David Schap read a tribute for the honoree prepared by Paul R. Bjorklund on behalf of an AAEFE Board subcommittee charged with selecting the 2023 recipient from a set of nominees submitted to the full Board by the AAEFE Legacy Committee. The tribute follows.
